Sunamp Thermino ePlus

The Sunamp Thermino ePlus is a replacement for a hot water cylinder.

It provides hot water like a hot water tank, though instead of storing hot water it stores heat and turns it into hot water on demand. It’s designed to charge overnight on a cheap tariff or from solar, and provides all of your domestic hot water needs.

Sunamp Thermino ePlusVersus a direct electric hot water cylinder, the Sunamp Thermino ePlus uses less electricity, mainly from lower standing loss and no reheat cycling, and it needs less space; though it’s floor standing because it’s heavy.

Switch to a boiler powered by renewable electricity. Boilers play a part in the climate emergency, so switching away from gas, oil or LPG makes a difference.

The Sunamp Thermino is designed and built by a Scottish company, inside is a welded steel core packed with sodium acetate trihydrate – the same salt in reusable hand warmers – plus an immersion heater and a heat exchanger coil.
