Why the DC Bus Matters

Direct DC coupling eliminates multiple conversion losses. e.g. when charging your EV, it can bypass AC conversion entirely – solar DC to battery DC to EV DC. That’s 95% efficiency vs. 75-80% for traditional AC-coupled systems.

The SigenStor Battery Storage Tech

Chemistry: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄ or LFP) – safer, longer-lasting than standard lithium-ion.
Cell grade: EV-grade 280Ah or 314Ah prismatic cells (same stuff in electric cars).
Modularity: 5kWh or 8kWh modules, stackable (max 6 modules = 48kWh).
Depth of discharge: 100% (you can use the full capacity).
Cycle life: 6,000+ cycles at 100% DoD.
Active balancing: Smart optimizer per battery pack allows mixing new/old modules.

Stackable Design

Unlike traditional wall-mounted batteries, SigenStor uses self-guiding pin connectors. Modules physically stack and automatically connect without complex DC wiring.

Bi-Directional Capability

With the EVDC module, your car becomes part of the system:
V2H (Vehicle-to-Home): Power your house from your car during outages.
V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid): Sell stored car energy back to grid (where supported).
